I am a linguist working at the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation at the University of Agder (UiA) in Kristiansand, Norway. I am a syntactician, and work on issues related to category, quantifiers and numerals, case, agreement, and periphrastic expressions of genericity (this kind of dog).

I completed my PhD at Utrecht University in the Netherlands as part of the NWO funded project, The Uniformity of Linguistic Variation, with Marjo van Koppen (project leader) and Franca Wesseling (fellow Phd). Since then, I have taught in the English departments at Utrecht University and Leiden University (2016 & 2017 academic years), and was a postdoc in the Nominal Modification graduate school at Goethe University, Frankfurt, under Caroline Fery.
